About Kimberly
As far back as I can recall, I have had a passion and admiration of flowers, color and design. In my youth, I continually involved myself in arts and crafts. Often, I enjoyed these projects with my grandmother and even won a drawing contest in elementary school. As a young girl, I dreamed of having a floral shop one day.
Upon graduating high school in 1985, I began to work as an Administrative Assistant in Towson, Maryland. Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend college because I had to help with finances for my family at home because my father became ill. While working in Towson, Maryland for an Engineering firm, I recognized that line of work was not for me. The Vice President that I worked for, encouraged me to go college and attend “engineering school.” However, whenever I attended meetings, I always saw things from the architect’s point of view. I began selling real estate in my spare time and eventually started working for a Fortune 500 Home Builder/Mortgage Company. Eventually becoming an Executive Vice President for the corporation.
Following visiting and spending extensive time in Holland, I renewed my passion and desire as a little girl to own a floral shop. I decided to leave “Corporate America” and jump in headfirst into the endeavor and never had a single regret.
Sixteen years later, my business has evolved and blossomed into one of the most coveted, admired and respected “Floral Event Design” companies in the Mid-Atlantic region. I appreciate all the love and support I have received over the years from my family, friends, colleagues and employees. Especially from my husband (Dru), son (Cameron), mother-in-law (Carol) and my sisters (Sherry and Lori). I am truly blessed!
I am so grateful to assist my clients collaborate, design and produce memorable events for life’s special moments and am hopeful to continue this journey for many years to come.
